As an ORDAINED minister I am VERY experienced in working with Christian couples and premarital couples. In addition to performing wedding services, I have been giving Christian spiritual help and advice for all my years in Christian service. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Very uncomplicated. It all depends on how far I have to travel and how much time it will take as well as if I have to attend the rehearsal.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have continued to study trends in weddings and stay connected with others in the same business.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Was first asked to do a wedding for my niece and her husband to be...that was in 1981...

What types of customers have you worked with?

I assist each couple in creating the perfect ceremony for their needs. I also provide pre-marital counseling as needed and requested by my couples.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Had to do Pre-Marital over a video connection between North Carolina and California. Took some time, but it worked well with a wonderful ceremony in Costa Mesa.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Get to know the person at least a little bit personally and feel comfortable that they can relate to you and your unique needs.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Not everyone that wants to be a wedding officiant is qualified. I have found from discussions with the couples that I work with that there are many that present themselves as wedding professionals that do NOT know what they are doing!
